Tarte limited-edition wing workers deluxe tarteist eyeliner set

Hello Beauty addicts!

Welcome back to my Blog, Today I wanted to talk about the Tarte Cosmetics Wing Workers Eyeliner set. Let me begin by saying that the Tartiest is my favorite eyeliner, I been using it since it first came out.

What I Love About It:

  • Consistency
  • Vibrancy
  • Longevity

Makeup Artists are always looking for the best in eyeliners and to me this is it!

Ok, what you came for.. This set is super cute!! I love the colors they picked for the set.

Black     Blue    Gold    Burgundy

They are all useful for a makeup artist, and not too wild. My personal favorite is the burgundy...omg this color!!
The consistency and vibrancy is the same and even this small amount will last a while, so I believe for the price at $35 is worth it!

My only complain is that some of the colors came a little watery and the tubes seemed a little empty, but once you squeeze the tube you get the product. Other than that I love these.... and hey maybe my batch was the only that came that way!

Tell me:

Did you buy these?
Which color is your favorite?
Did you like this blog post?

I love to hear from you guys so please don't be shy!

See you all in the next blog!

NYX Professional Makeup Store

Hello Beauty Adiicts!

I had the awesome opportunity to visit the recently opened NXY store in Orlando located in The Mall at Millenia.

It was everything i dreamed and more! You know when you sike yourself out because you don't want to be too excited... I was telling myself... gurrl... its just Nyx you can get that at Ulta, Walgreens, Target.. ect,, so what's the big deal.

OMG... the big deal is, that there's so much more!! everything you see online is at the store. The Joy of not having to wait, getting to try all the products it's great!

I loved the store, it's like being inside the website.. it looks the same! I played with all products touched everything and came out looking like a colorful mess.
I LOVED IT!

Moral of the story children, is you truly are a beauty addict and you live near a Nyx store.. don't be shy, go in, the staff is friendly and willing to help, the store is fully stocked and it's just fun to be there!

The store is 4 hours away from me, but i was in the area visiting the theme parks.. but one of the employees told me that there is talk that a Miami store is opening soon so I researched and found that the are hiring for a Nyx store in Ft. Lauderdale, it's not Miami but it's only 30 min away soo YAY!!

I went in to simply Vlog about the store.... that was the plan.. instead I ended up spending $76 dollars!
Totally worth it!

HD PHOTOGENIC CONCEALER WAND $5.00 (haven't tried it)

SCULPT & HIGHLIGHT BROW CONTOUR $10.00 (great pay off )

MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY - MATTE $8.00 (i've had a love affair with this for a while)

STAY MATTE BUT NOT FLAT POWDER FOUNDATION $9.50 (great powder foundation good coverage)

FLAWLESS FINISH BLENDING SPONGE $8.00 (SO good! it expands and blends as well as a beauty blender but a lot less!)

INVINCIBLE FULLEST COVERAGE FOUNDATION $12.00 (great coverage and long lasting)

STROBE OF GENIUS ILLUMINATING PALETTE $19 (great pay off and great for the price)

Here is a video of my adventure

VIB Rouge Tom Ford Event at Spehora

I had the honor to be the guest of my friend who is a Vib Rouge
At Sephora for the Tom Ford makeup line event

so we got to be special guests and we got to be treated by the Tom Ford makeup artist.

I couldn't wait for the event, from the minute we got in we were greeted by the artist, they were showing everyone the makeup line.

When it was time for the event to start they gave us gift bags from Tom Ford, we didn't look inside  right away...  we didn't want to look like we were dying to open these bags LOL.

We walked around the store for a little bit until it was time for us to get our makeup done.  When you come to these events they don't do a full face of makeup they basically retouch what you already have to show you their products.

I got to try out their eye shadow Duo, It is a cream and a powder that is long lasting, I also tried their blush, highlight and contouring palette and their lipstick.

It felt good to get treated for a change I always do my own makeup, so to have someone else do my makeup was a treat.

Before                                          After

I like the makeup very much unfortunately I didn't like the price tag, but if you're able to deal with a price tag... then the products are well worth it! My best friend fell in love with their mist it leaves your skin glowing and it had glitter inside!

I loved their eye shadow Duo, if I were to buy something that would be it.

After we were done with that make up we got treated to some hors d'oeuvres and champagne, so we enjoyed walking around the store looking at makeup while drinking some champagne it was a great day can't complain and I can't wait to get invited to more of these events.

Half Skull & Half Glam Halloween Makeup

Hello Beauty Addicts!

Welcome back to Beautybyshaq!
Today I bring you this awesome look for Halloween!

I wanted to create a few looks this October, some ideas you could use this festive season, for parties or even trick or treating!!
I wanted to start by sharing the products I used, and links so you can find them easy!

First thing I used is 3rd degree:

This is a 2 part silicone prosthetic material, that when mixed together, you have about ten minutes to shape and mold into what you would like before it gets hard and stays that way! This product while is still wet, you can blend and clean off  with 99% alcohol.

If you don't have this product, don't panic! you can still create this look without it! Simply using gel blood for the division or nothing at all! It will still look great and people will be talking about your makeup all night!

Next I used my favorite eye shadow primer at the moment.. this one is from sephora it's their eye shadow primer and Glitter hold!

another of my favorite products and one of my favorite brands it's this Highlight and Contour palette from Crown brush. This palette come with neutral eye shadows and highlighters, bronzer and blushes! definitely a must have in your bag of tricks.

also from crown this amazing trio palette !
Omg i'ts all I use lately!

Another of my favorite brands (seriously i use it all the time) it's Ofra Cosmetics.
In this tutorial I used their Bright addiction palette and as always their Black gel eye liner.

(more pictures of the look)

In this tutorial I used my Kat VonD foundation (in shade 62) which is full coverage long wear and tattoo cover up.
I love it because it covers all! I also used her Everlasting liquid lipstick in outlaw.

I use my BenNye cameo loose powder, I love how these powders set my makeup.

My latest addiction the Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm.

For the face painting part of this look I used Mehron Paradise Makeup in Black White and LT-Brown

Last but definitely not least my Thick Blood from Bennye.

Of course all these products are amazing, but you can totally get this look using stuff you already have or things from the nearest pharmacy or Walmart.

The important thing is to have fun recreating this and other looks and rocking them out or have your own privet photo shoot! lol! If you do recreate this or any of my looks tag me on Instagram or email me or leave it here on my comments!

Have fun!

Cheshire Cat inspired makeup look

Hello Beauty addicts!!

For my second Halloween makeup look teamed up with my friend and co-worker Karla.
She's an amazing artist who is looking to start a YouTube  channel, so we did this look to get her
started.

We created this look using Mehron paradise cake makeup, this is a makeup that you activate with water. the trick is to get a consistency of pancake batter... lol... yes... wet but not liquidy, that would give you a better coverage and it's easier to blend!

However if  you don't have these products, you can always try to recreate it with eye shadows, cream colors or even eye liners!

have fun! if you try this look tag us on instagram i'm @beautybyshaq and she is @_kgmakeup
